Introduction:
Under the umbrella of the All-Atlantic Cooperation for Ocean Research and Innovation (AANChOR‑CSA) Project, the Data Infrastructures and Stakeholder’s Forum forms part of the implementation of the Joint Pilot Action for AANChOR’s Work Package 5 (Common Standards for Data and Information Sharing). AA-Data2030 stands for All-Atlantic Ocean Data Enterprise 2030. This is a side-event of the The All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance 2022 Forum, co-hosted by the United States and Brazil, in collaboration with the European Commission, over two events between May and July 2022. Objectives:
- To showcase marine data infrastructures and operators in Africa to ensure their participation and inclusion in the All‑Atlantic Ocean Data Space (AAODS).
- To support the development of a natural-, social- scientific and humanistic transatlantic ocean data space with historical, current and future ocean data.
- To define a minimum set of ocean metadata standards and formats to be used by local, regional and national initiatives in the Atlantic basin.

(work in progress)
This document was mainly developed in the workshop "Producing a Draft Zero Version of the Roadmap for the Implementation of the All-Atlantic Ocean Data Space" (see programme below). It is also the result of other activities carried out within the framework of the Joint Pilot Action All-Atlantic Ocean Data Enterprise 2030 for the All-Atlantic Cooperation for Ocean Research and Innovation (AANChOR‑CSA) Project Work Package 5, Common Standards for Information and Data Sharing.

DAY 2: WORKSHOP "Producing a Draft Zero version of the Roadmap for the Implementation of the All-Atlantic Ocean Data Space"
Date: 25 May 2022
Time: 14:00 – 16:00 (South African Summer Time)
Audience: All-Atlantic Community
Main objective of the workshop
We aim to produce a Draft Zero version of the “Roadmap for the Implementation of the All-Atlantic Ocean Data Space”.
Concept
Participants will be divided into three working groups to debate fundamental questions regarding the development of the Roadmap for the Implementation of the All‑Atlantic Ocean Data Space. These working groups will already be established prior to the workshop.
The organisers of the meeting will welcome the participants and introduce the main questions. The working groups will then be divided into separate breakout rooms to discuss the questions assigned to each group before returning to the main room to present their results and subsequently debate them in plenary.
The facilitator of the meeting will combine the different contributions and set up a web-based document with the conclusions. This will form Draft Zero of the “Roadmap for the Implementation of the All-Atlantic Ocean Data Space.
