31.10.16 | Graduates from the University of Bremen can still be nominated until November 11, 2016
The KELLNER & STOLL FOUNDATION FOR CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT, the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) and the University of Bremen have launched the “CAMPUS PRIZE: research for a sustainable future” this summer. The initiators have now decided to extend the application deadline until Friday, November 11, at 11am. Promising nomination have already been received, but the organisers have decided to lengthen the deadline to stress that the scope of answers to challenges of our future should not just be limited to technical solutions or natural sciences. The understanding of sustainability which forms the basis for the award, is much more comprehensive and also includes social and economic aspects. The initiators are certain that a broad spectrum of sustainability research is covered by the University of Bremen, which just needs to be unearthed. The prize is to contribute to these discoveries. The prize money amounts to 2,000 Euro and will be awarded annually.
