INTRODUCTION:

Under the umbrella of the All-Atlantic Cooperation for Ocean Research and Innovation (AANChOR‑CSA) Project (https://allatlanticocean.org/main), the All-Atlantic Training Platform (AA-TP) Training For Technicians Working Onboard Research Vessels will offer trainees a range of aspects of oceanographic training on-board a world class research vessel.

• 12 x 5 l Carousel & SBE911 CTD system
• Gliders and autonomous devices
• SBE45 TSG underway system with remote SBE38 temperature probe at seawater intake
• General Oceanics underway pCO2 system
• Hydrobios vertical/oblique bongo; Hydrobios Multinet system; Continuous Plankton Recorder; RMT; Neuston catamaran
• Acoustic devices: 75 kHz RDI ADCP; Simrad ES70 acoustic system (with 120; 200 and 38kHz transducers) 18kHz echosounder
• SDS (Scientific Data Server) that captures all the underway navigational; metrological; TSG; Light sensors (SPAR) and acoustic data. Also stores all the station details.
• Calibration of acoustic system, salinity-temperature-oxygen probes before cruise
