The ZMT DataLab is a scientific computing facility for data-centric collaboration. The DataLab is hosted at www.zmt-datalab.de.
The DataLab is a digital platform where ZMT scientists and their partners from the tropics can host and collaborate on their data analysis projects. As a platform for collaboration, the DataLab provides access to project management tools, topic-related chat streams, and a high-throughput computing cluster with modern hardware. It is one of the ZMT's instruments for improving the scientific data landscape for tropical marine research – primarily through development in the areas of data literacy, flexibility, partnerships and visibility.
The DataLab is a product of ZMT's strategic digitalization initiative DigiZ. It is conceptualized and managed by the Research Data Service, supported by the WG Data Science and Technology.
Registration and access can be requested via the registration service.
