28.09.17 | The Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Senegal are organising a Winter School in Senegal from February 3 to 9, 2018.
Supported by the German Academic Echancge Service (DAAD) and other institutions, the event is focusing on exploring complex systems using computational tools.
MSc and PhD students with a keen interest in computational sciences are encourage to apply. Advanced knowledge in mathematical or numerical disciplines is not required. The course will cover topics including spreading of diseases, predator-prey interactions, earth system regulation, human cooperation and evolution.
