06/11/2023 | On Wednesday, November 8 at 5 p.m., Bremen's House of Science will open the exhibition of its supporting institutions "In the starting blocks - young scientists, students and trainees in the state of Bremen". The ZMT is also participating in the exhibition with several short video presentations by young scientists and an exhibit that was created as part of the research project of a doctoral student in the Institutions and Behavioural Economics working group.
What would science be without its young talents? Students, trainees and doctoral candidates make a significant contribution to gaining knowledge in science, as well as to maintaining daily teaching and research operations. The exhibition therefore focuses on the next generation of scientists and demonstrates that universities and institutes not only train academics, but also offer numerous training opportunities for the specialists of tomorrow. From office clerk to technical laboratory assistant to carpenter - there is a wide range on offer.
Exhibits will be shown that illustrate the work of junior staff and provide insights into their projects. Short videos they have made themselves also provide a personal perspective on their studies or training. Together with information on training opportunities at the supporting institutions of the House of Science, this exhibition is particularly aimed at young people who are looking for inspiration for their professional future.
Opening on November 8, 2023 at 5 p.m., on display until February 27, 2024
House of Science, Sandstraße 4/5
Admission is free.
