29/04/2025 | The ceremony to bestow the CAMPUS Award: Research for a Sustainable Future will take place at the University of Bremen on 7 May from 18:00 onwards. The prize goes to outstanding young scientists on the campus of the University of Bremen who are honoured for a research project that contributes to the sustainable use of resources and the protection of the environment, the climate and the oceans. Theses in the categories ‘Master's thesis’ and ‘Dissertation’ are honoured, which advance sustainable research with their special approach, methods, results and their practical relevance. The decisive factors for the award are a research approach at eye level with all those involved in the project and the involvement of local partners, companies or civil society. The CAMPUS PRIZE: Research for a Sustainable Future is awarded by the KELLNER & STOLL - FOUNDATION FOR CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT, the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT), the University of Bremen and the Alumni Association of the University of Bremen e.V. and is endowed with 3000 euros.
