Up to 25 particpants from Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, UK and Ukraine are expected at the three-day event

The subject of this year's conference, which takes place every two years in different research institutes around Europe, is "Riding the Wave: Information Retrieval and Resource Management for the Future".

Christina Schrader, head of the MEDIA UNIT at ZMT and member of the program committee, has helped organising the conference. She will lead a session and give a talk on the topic of »Open Access in the ZMT«.

„In the future it will become more and more important that researchers recieve an prompt and unlimited access to the results, which is why we will discuss about Open Access and the reorientation of the library,“ says Christina Schrader.

Registration for the conference is still possible until May 3, 2017.
