10th CAMPUS AWARD: Nominate master's thesis or dissertation on the topic of sustainability now!

For this year's CAMPUS AWARD, lecturers at the University of Bremen can once again submit master's and doctoral theses on the topic of sustainability. The CAMPUS AWARD aims to provide a platform for theses on the topic of sustainability and to recognise the best approaches. It is now in its 10th year.

Examples from previous years' nominees show how differently the topic of sustainability can be addressed in these theses. Among other things, they dealt with the sustainable use of resources, the protection of the environment and nature, the climate and the oceans, adaptation to climate change, the technological challenges of meeting the 1.5-degree target, the socio-ecological, economic and legal conditions for a transformation towards sustainability, and new teaching models.

Master's or doctoral theses completed and assessed at the University of Bremen after 31 August 2023 are eligible for nomination for the CAMPUS AWARD 2025/26. The deadline for submissions is 18 November 2025.

How can you nominate someone?

The nomination form can be found on the website https://campuspreis.de under ‘Apply’. The exact conditions of participation can also be found there.
