The exhibition at the BMBF featured a diverse number of topics. What is it like to live and work on a reseacrh vessel? What does the survival box on a polar expidition contain? Or even, how to avoid back pain when doing DIY? It was the third time the BMBF had invited the public to its new offices in the German capital at Kapelle-Ufer 1 on the banks of the river Spree. In addition to getting information about current research projects visitors could also take a look behind the scenes by taking part in guided tours through the ministry building, which was awarded the highest accolade in the evaluation „Nachhaltiges Bauen für Bundesgebäude".
